What is Tapioca residue powder?

Cassava residue powder, also known as Tapioca residue powder , is a by-product created during the process of processing cassava tubers into cassava starch. It is essentially the fiber left over after the starch has been extracted. However, there is still a lot of starch left over, and the amount of starch retained depends on the need and purpose of use. Therefore, there are many tapioca residue products with different percentages of starch contained.

The amount of Tapioca residues obtained from this process is very large (on average, a factory producing 100 tons of dried starch per day produces about 300-400 tons of fresh tapioca residues) then the tapioca residues are processed, dried, removed toxic substances, large reserves to supply other industrial activities: animal feed production, Ethanol production, alcohol production, nitric acid, probiotics,… In particular, used as animal feed is a common use and accounts for the majority.
